SMS terms & conditions

When you give us your mobile number, here is exactly what we may text you, how often, and how to stop at any time.

Draft for counsel review — the consent, opt-out and no-sharing commitments are final. Campaign (non-transactional) messaging is enabled only after carrier registration.

Your number is never shared for marketing

In plain English

we don’t sell or share your phone number, full stop.

The mobile number you give Airways Ticketing as part of the SMS consent process, and your consent itself, are never shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes. We use your number only to reach you about your own travel, as described below. This is also covered by our privacy policy.

What we’ll text you about

In plain English

mostly your booking — requests, ticketing, and time-sensitive travel changes.

If you have consented to receive text messages from Airways Ticketing, you may receive messages related to:

  • Booking-request confirmations and ticketing status updates
  • Follow-up messages from the desk about your request
  • Time-sensitive travel alerts — schedule changes, cancellations, gate or fare updates
  • Payment reminders for a ticket you have asked us to issue
  • Occasional offers or promotions, only if you have separately opted in to marketing

Example message“Airways Ticketing: your e-tickets for booking AWT-0000AA have been issued and emailed to you. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.”

How often we text

In plain English

only as much as your trip needs — a handful of messages, not a stream.

Message frequency varies with the type of communication. You may receive up to approximately 5 SMS messages per booking regarding your request and ticketing status, plus any time-sensitive travel alerts for trips you have booked. If you have opted in to marketing, you may receive up to 2 promotional SMS messages per month.

Message & data rates

In plain English

your carrier’s standard rates may apply — the texts themselves are free from us.

Standard message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier’s plan. These charges are set by your carrier, not by Airways Ticketing, and may differ for messages sent domestically or internationally.

Opting in

In plain English

you opt in by giving us your number and agreeing — on a form or with the desk.

You may opt in to receive SMS messages from Airways Ticketing by:

  • Submitting your mobile number and agreeing to SMS on one of our online forms
  • Telling a desk agent, verbally, during a call that you consent to text updates

Consent to transactional and marketing SMS is never a condition of buying anything from us.

Opting out

In plain English

reply STOP to any message, any time. That’s all it takes.

You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any SMS message you receive from us. You will receive a single confirmation that you have been unsubscribed, and then no further messages. You can also contact us directly to be removed from our messaging list.

Getting help

In plain English

reply HELP, call the desk, or email us.

Reply HELP to any message for assistance, call +1 209 751 1333 24/7, or email info@airwaysticketing.com. If you would prefer not to receive SMS at all, simply do not provide a mobile number for texting, or decline the SMS option on our forms.
