Licences & registrations
Travel sellers are regulated state by state. This page lists what each registration is, the number we hold, and where you can verify it yourself — because a number you can’t check is just decoration.
Every number in our footer, explained and verifiable · updated 20 August 2026

IATA TIDS
Application in progress IATA TIDS #—
An industry identifier for travel sellers. Note what it is and isn’t: TIDS identifies us to airline systems; it is not an accreditation and we don’t present it as one. Verify on the IATA TIDS register.
How your ticket is actually issued
In place
We are not ARC-accredited and we do not claim to be. Tickets on your booking are issued through IATA- and ARC-accredited consolidators we hold ticketing arrangements with. A ticketing agent here builds the fare and issues it on a GDS under that accreditation, then the e-ticket numbers are recorded against your booking and emailed to you.
What this means for you in practice: the ticket is a normal ticket in the airline’s own system, with a normal 13-digit ticket number, and you check in with the airline directly. It also means changes and cancellations come back through us rather than to the airline — we hold the ticket, so we are the ones who can reissue it.
What you won’t find here
No badges we don’t hold, no seals that mean nothing. When a registration above completes, its number appears here and in every footer the same day. Until then it says “in progress” — and a page that admits that is worth more than one that doesn’t. Bookings from states requiring registration open only once the corresponding number is live.
Airways Ticketing is an independent travel agency registered in Algonquin, Illinois. We are a ticket agent, not an air carrier; transportation is provided by the operating airline under its conditions of carriage.
